Hi, My name is Everett Cole. You are reading this because you either scanned the QR code on your card or my parents told you about me! Either way I am here to share my story with you! That little dino you got is me! I have a very special story and I am here to share it! My mama & daddy have struggled to have a baby for almost 9 years now. They tried numerous medications that did not work. They had one last option & that was surrogacy. They asked my auntie Nicole if she would carry a baby for them and she said YES! They transferred my little embryo on December 27, 2023. The day of transfer Auntie Nicole had to take some medicine that made her a little loopy (it was so funny!). She looked at the ultrasound screen and said it looks like a little dinosaur! Mama & Daddy knew right then that would what they would call me until they found out if I was a boy or girl. We had a few more ultrasounds every week for a while. I was growing bigger & bigger each week. On March 2, 2024 we all went in for a fun ultrasound with my Grammy & Mimi. The fun ultrasound turned into my parents biggest nightmare. They were told something was not right with the shape of my head. It was the worst day they could have ever had. They followed up with Auntie Nicole’s OBGYN to get more information. They confirmed something was wrong and sent us to a place called Maternal Fetal Medicine. This is where they were able to figure out exactly what was wrong. The doctors told my parents & my auntie I had a condition called Anencephaly & it was fatal. They learned most babies do not make it to full term & if they did they would only live a few hours. Unfortunately, I made it to 20 weeks & at my anatomy scan they learned I had no heart beat.

My story is not over! I may be in heaven with Jesus but my name will forever be in so many hearts. My mama & daddy spread hope all around because of me. I know they may be sad because I’m gone but I know they will not give up sharing my story no matter the amount of tears they shed. One day I will be able to meet them and give them all my love.
